Moosehead Lake is home to over 15 species of fish including, but not limited to; Landlocked salmon, Lake trout, Brook trout, Round whitefish, Rainbow smelt, Smallmouth bass, White perch, Yellow perch, Longnose sucker, White sucker, Rompout (bullhead) and Burbot (cusk). Fisherman will find the 100+ square miles to be a great place to explore and an ideal habitat for many species of fish.
